This is a fun and engaging class that meets little yogis where they are at (both developmentally and in the moment). It provides a safe space for connection between child and caregiver, while also supporting healthy child development (i.e. language skills and cognitive development through singing and repetition, body awareness, motor skills, strength & balance).
My name is Brooke McMullen, and I’m very excited to share this practice with you and your child! As someone who has always been highly sensitive, maintaining a regular yoga practice has been very important to me both mentally and physically. While working as a child developmental specialist in Boston, MA., I sought training in Sleep Coaching, Play Therapy, and became a certified ChildLight Yoga for Babies and Toddlers instructor. I love sharing and adapting this practice for children and their families; it’s an environment that supports and encourages each child to progress at his/her own pace (no matter where they’re at in their stages of development).
